"I have read several books on
stock trading online, and some of them have been
very helpful. But I cannot say that any of the
other books actually improved my online trading
results. Trading books tend to be written by
people who act as advisors, or observers, of the
market. These people make their living observing
the market in a detached fashion. By
contrast, Tony Oz is a
professional trader. He knows what it is like to
face the market day in and day out, and has
proven that he can take money out of the market
on a regular basis. What makes this book
invaluable is the actual stock trading setups
and the specificity with which they are
described. Oz walks the reader through his
setups, providing
precise entry points and
numerous examples. These setups provide
profitable opportunities in the market day in
and day out. I have not found another book that
is so clear about its trading setups, or where
the setups have been so consistently successful.
I can say without question that this book is
worth every penny.

Books by Tony Oz - How to Take Money from Wall Street
In her review of the book, How to
Take Money from Wall Street, Adrian J Lawson wrote, "You may be
wondering, if this book is so good, why it is being offered for $50
by this master trader. You may be thinking that this book is just
200 pages of snake oil. I wondered the same thing before I mustered
the courage to buy it. After all, alot of professional traders are
very secretive about their setups and would never publish a book so
clear and explicit as this one. I think the answer is that Tony Oz
has a passion for teaching, and that, as a person, he is a class
act. Believe me when I say that with the trading setups he invented,
it's not like he really needs your $50. If you want to become a
successful trader, you should take advantage of this opportunity and
get the education of a lifetime."
Just to clarify, a $50 book puts less than $4 in my pocket from
royalties, authors don't get that much money from the publishers
(smile). Anyhow, I believe that Adrian hit the nail on the
head. My passion for what I do for a living and the love for
teaching is definitely what makes it all worthwhile for me.
And the numerous emails that I receive from readers all over the
world which are full of kind words put a very large smile on my
face. Once, I even got a postcard from Jamaica which showed a
beautiful exotic beach, and on the back it said, "just wanted to let
you know where your training got me ..."
"This book covers the
basics and also provides advanced trading ideas and concepts for the
more experienced trader. In the beginning he explains the many
mistakes that he made and what he did to correct those mistakes. For
the beginner (if you are) pay particular attention to his money
management. For the advanced trader Tony covers his scans that he
uses; what they are used for, how they were derived and how to
implement them. There are plenty of trading ideas here. After
reading the book, you are not locked out, if there are any questions
that you might have , Tony will answer them via his web site. I rate
this book Outstanding!" ~V.E.T.
"Tony knows how to
trade and also how to teach others how to trade in a
non-pretentious, everyday sort of way. His writing style is
deceptively simple - hiding the fact that in just a few pages he is
really offering the reader several innovative trading techniques.
This, imo, is one of the best trading books available." ~ Yannis

to care less about making money from his books." ~ J.M.
Books by Tony Oz -
The Stock Trader: How I
Make a Living Trading Stocks
"Tony Oz focuses on the
typical elements you face when trading: entry price tactics, stop
losses, classical charting techniques, exit tactics, and psychology.
While these topics are fairly widely covered topics in different
books, the best thing about this book is that it simply allows you
to get a feel for how a real trader USES those elements and distills
them down to what's absolutely necessary and what's just textbook
filler. While many older books on day trading have now become
outdated, this book shows the common denominator in all successful
trading, whether it be a bubble or a recession." ~ T.H.
"One of the real
values of this book is the author's religious use of stops. Until a
trader understands the importance of cutting his losses early, he
has no hope of succeeding. I also commend the author for documenting
his actual trades, which should be a requirement for anyone writing
a book on trading." ~ R.A.
Synopsis:
One of a kind book that shows how
a professional trader trades over 4-weeks. This is a unique
view of how real day trading is conducted, complete with
losses, missed opportunities, technical problems and of
course winning trades. It shows how every trade was
identified, managed and closed. Currently Sold out but
new edition should be in 11/15/2005
"I really like the
way Mr. Oz not only trades but also writes. This book about
trading is fascinating. It is mysterious, humorous and
educational. It is hard not to fall in love with Oz's
personality when you read this book especially if you are a
trader. The most fascinating thing about this book is to see how
he thinks and how emotional he gets. His discipline is
absolutely amazing and his simple straight forward approach
makes it easier to understand. His creativity and humor comes
across throughout the book as you can see by the chapters'
titles. What I also like is that Mr. Oz is sincere. The chapter
"thank you but no champagne for me" shows his personality. I
like this book and I like the author. And as other reviewers
said, I also highly recommend this book. Definitely five stars
for this one." ~ F.S. Las Vegas, NV
"Surprisingly
engaging for a "how to" book on trading stocks. I found myself
reading late into the night, cheering-on each trade. Tony's
techniques are basic, conservative and effective." ~ J.F. Los
